This album was birthed from the disconnect of mourning someone who is still alive, and the grief felt all the same when they do finally pass. During much of this period music was (and continues to be) my coping mechanism, and so all these feelings that even now I struggle to put into words manifested themselves within these songs, at first sub-consciously and then with intention. I have no idea what these songs will offer the listener, but hope maybe someone out there will find comfort in them.
